4. SMS and Email Communications

By submitting your phone number on one of our forms and clicking the submit button next to the text-message notice, you consent to receive text messages and calls from Appa Capital Solutions, Inc. d/b/a Appetizer Funding about your funding inquiry, such as application status, document requests, offers, and reminders. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving funding. We do not share your mobile phone number, or your text-message opt-in and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information you give us for your application may be shared with the funding partners who process it, as described in section 3.

5. Facebook Lead Ads

If you submit your information through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, that information is transmitted to Appetizer Funding and used solely to follow up on your funding inquiry. We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Lead Ads policies.

6. Bank Account Data (Plaid)

With your consent, we use Plaid Technologies, Inc. to securely connect to your bank account for the purpose of verifying business revenue and assessing eligibility for funding. By connecting your bank account, you authorize Appetizer Funding to retrieve read-only transaction and balance data via Plaid.

• Bank account credentials are never stored by Appetizer — they are handled exclusively by Plaid
• Bank transaction data retrieved via Plaid is used solely for underwriting decisions
• This data is stored encrypted and is not shared with third parties except as required to process your application
• You may revoke bank access at any time by contacting us

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information. Financial documents are stored securely and accessible only to authorized personnel.
